ABOUT ME

My name is Flavia Jimena Guardia; I was born in Argentina.

I developed an interest in textiles and footwear. I grew up in Buenos Aires (the capital of Argentina).

After some studying at the end of High School and with years of learning acquired at the school of Arts, I chose Graphic Design in a tertiary institute. There I learned to work with all design programs and technical language. When I finished, I was only 19 years old, so I started fashion design at the University.

In 2007 I graduated in Fashion Design and Textiles from the University of Buenos Aires FADU, and also completed some subjects of Graphic Design at the same University. At the same time, I was a volunteer in production techniques (UBA-FADU) as an assistant professor at the same University.

With more than 15 years of experience, I developed a professional profile focused on production (design-pattern maker- production -distribution) in different companies and areas, including children's clothing, Clothing for Women and Men, Underwear, Lingerie, footwear, extreme sports equipment clothes, technical work clothes and accessories.

My career embraced all the steps of production at different scales, with a clear understanding of the waste in production.

My highest achievement was in the footwear industry, being responsible for the whole process in all the areas of the line manufacturing, including the injection process. In 2010 I became a final product provider. In addition, I provided a range of clothes and accessories for children, which I sold to the first brands in Argentina. This experience led to launching a solid carrier as an independent supplier under Shifty Air.

Finally, in 2016 I moved to Australia -Melbourne to be the founder of www.ecoenviroconcepts.com , working in the circular economy, and transferring all my knowledge focus 100% on saving the environment.

Occasionally, I continue to provide services as a freelance design, development branding, product development and advice for small entrepreneurs.
